Product Phytoseiulus persimilis (predatory mite) Presentation: 100 ml bottle with dosage cap Contents: 2000 adults mixed with sawdust Target Glasshouse red spider mite (Tetranychus urticae). All stages, with a preference for younger ones. The predatory mite can only survive on red spider mites (Tetranychus spp.). Introduction Invert and gently shake the bottle before use Sprinkle the material on the leaves or pour it into application boxes (DIBOX) Environmental conditions Relative humidity should be above 75%, and the temperature above 20°C for a few hours a day. Phytoseiulus persimilis does not enter diapause. Storage and packaging Due to the (very) short life cycle of biological control products, they should be introduced into the crop as soon as possible after receipt. Storage can affect quality and should only take place under the conditions indicated below.
