The Jack Puck 8 Ton Cylindrical Press is an exclusive and innovative press created especially for compressing plant extracts, ideal for compacting hash to easily remove excess water and air, resulting in a compact slab. Easy to use and robust, it comes equipped with an 8-ton hydraulic jack, making it effortless to produce slabs that are easier to preserve and handle, saving hours of work.
This Jack Puck 8 Ton Cylindrical Press requires very simple maintenance; just lubricate the ram or plunger, the pumping mechanism, and the saddle regularly with a specific hydraulic jack lubricant. It should never be stored upright with the ram fully lowered, and be careful not to loosen the valve screw too much to avoid accidentally removing it. The round mold can be heated in the oven up to 100°C to facilitate compaction.
Whether for pressing dry-extracted or ice-water extracted hash, the Jack Puck 8 Ton Press will be the best ally for resin extraction enthusiasts.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
This step is optional but recommended. Heat the mold and mold lid in the oven to a maximum of 100°C. This facilitates compression and increases efficiency.
Secure the TrimPro Jack Puck 8 Ton Cylindrical Press to a table with the integrated hooks.
Assemble the mold in the press and place the hash or any extract inside. If you have placed the mold in the oven, handle it with protective gloves to avoid burns.
Before putting on the mold lid, we suggest placing a piece of parchment or baking paper in between to make it easier to remove the pressed hash block afterward. Secure the lid with the two butterfly screws.
With the handle, tighten the valve clockwise. If the valve is open, the ram or plunger will not rise.
Begin to compress the hash by moving the handle up and down as much as you can.
With the handle, loosen the valve counter-clockwise to lower the ram or plunger.
Remove the mold lid.
Leave the mold in the press and secure it with the butterfly screws.
Tighten the valve again with the handle.
Move the handle up and down again so that the ram pushes the hash slab out of the mold.
Release the pressure again by loosening the valve.
With your fingers, lower the base of the mold before removing it from the press to better utilize any residue.
