The Jack Puck 8-Ton Square Press is an exclusive and innovative press created especially for compressing plant extracts, ideal for compacting hash to easily remove excess water and air, achieving a compact slab. Easy to use and robust, it comes equipped with an 8-ton hydraulic jack so that with minimal effort, we can obtain slabs that are easier to preserve and handle, saving hours of work.
This Jack Puck 8-Ton Square Press has very simple maintenance; just regularly lubricate the ram or plunger, the pumping mechanism, and the saddle with a specific hydraulic jack lubricant. It should never be stored upright with the ram fully lowered, and be careful not to loosen the valve screw too much to avoid accidentally removing it. The square mold can be heated in the oven up to 100ºC to facilitate compaction.
Whether for pressing hash extracted dry or with water and ice, the Jack Puck 8-Ton Press will be the best ally for the resin extraction enthusiast.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
This step is optional but recommended. Heat the mold and mold lid in the oven to a maximum of 100ºC. This facilitates compression and increases efficiency.
Secure the TrimPro Jack Puck 8-Ton Square Press to a table with the incorporated hooks.
Assemble the mold in the press and place the hash or any extract inside. If you have placed the mold in the oven, handle it with protective gloves to avoid burns.
Before placing the mold lid, we suggest you put parchment or baking paper in between to make it easier to remove the pressed hash block later. Secure the lid with the two wing nuts.
With the handle, tighten the valve clockwise. If the valve is open, the plunger or ram will not go up.
Begin to compress the hash, moving the handle up and down as much as you can.
With the handle, loosen the valve counter-clockwise to lower the plunger or ram.
Remove the mold lid.
Leave the mold in the press and hold it with the wing nuts.
Tighten the valve again with the handle.
Move the handle up and down again so that the plunger pushes the hash slab out of the mold.
Release the pressure again by loosening the valve.
With your fingers, lower the base of the mold before removing it from the press to make the most of any possible residue.
