THC: *** CBD: * This is a classic strain, 50% Sativa 50% Indica, with a popularity that has endured throughout the years. According to history, this plant harnesses the power of a super Sativa Brazilian landrace combined with a resinous Indica from the mountains of Kerala, Southern India. We were given a female clone in 1996, and since then we have been crossing it with a carefully selected male White Widow plant. Being a common component in some of our hybrid plants, contributing to quality improvements, in 2012 we decided it was time to share the original strain in its purest form. Our pure line is strong, a lineage that comes from the original champion plant, developed by our old friend Ingemar, known by many as 'The Father of White Widow'. This powerful plant owes its name to the dangerously potent Black Widow spider, and to the thick layer of white crystals that cover its resinous buds. Expect the characteristics that have given this plant a solid reputation: a strong plant with uniform growth patterns that, when flowering, grows wider rather than taller. This variety adapts well to S.O.G., S.C.R.O.G., L.S.T. and other growing techniques, making it ideal for growers working in limited spaces. Its many side branches produce large, trichome-rich buds that exude a floral aroma. A gift for indoor growers, thanks to its consistency which makes it easy to control when growing in a room, and a harvest that will fill your basket after 8-9 weeks of flowering. Outdoors, it will try to reach for the sun (over 2m) and will yield a harvest commensurate with its size, making it a great choice in southern regions of the world. However, as the true champion it is, it performs very well in more moderate climates of northern Europe and Canada. Not for the faint of heart, the original White Widow (IBL) has a dose of potency that can catch even the most experienced smoker by surprise. Although this plant is half Sativa, it is the strength of the Indica bite that takes hold of the mind and body.
