The HI 98331 Soil EC/Temperature Tester is a pocket-sized meter specifically designed for direct measurement of soil conductivity and temperature. It is robust and reliable, offering fast and accurate readings. ELECTRODE This soil EC meter features a stainless steel penetration probe for direct conductivity measurement. The probe is interchangeable (HI 73331) and can be quickly replaced by the user. AUTOMATIC TEMPERATURE COMPENSATION Conductivity readings are temperature compensated by a built-in sensor in the conductivity penetration probe. CALIBRATION The conductivity range can be calibrated at one point. The meter is designed to be calibrated in liquid. To maintain good accuracy, frequent calibration of the instrument is recommended. It is recommended to calibrate the instrument: a) When the conductivity probe is replaced. b) When high accuracy is required. c) At least once a month.
