After years of commercializing the S.A.G.E. (Sativa Afghani Genetic Equilibrium) variety, the TH Seeds development department decided to cross a selected female of their SAGE with a Skunk Sam male. The result is plants with a sativa heritage (60% sativa - 40% indica), which flower in just 56-63 days, yielding an incredible production of highly compact, resin-covered flowers of great quality. SAGE was entered into the Bio-Cup, judged by Shanti Baba and Howard Marks, winning first prize. The same summer it was entered into the Irún Cup, achieving 2nd place in the sativa category. SAGE also achieved the highest THC level of all samples at the last High Times Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam.
