The best just got better. The new Gavita Pro Line e-series includes improved models suitable for central control with Gavita Master lighting controllers. Complete lighting control at your fingertips. Master controllers allow you to switch up to 80 "E" series fixtures on or off, dim, and intensify. They completely replace the switchbox, eliminate inrush current, offer advanced features such as sunrise and sunset simulation, and protect your valuable crop with temperature safety features. The Master controller automatically dims the lamps when the temperature is very high, and switches them off completely when climate control fails, thus protecting your crop. You can control a text messaging module or an alarm system to notify you immediately when a failure occurs. You can even choose to control one room with 80 ballasts or two rooms with 40 ballasts each, with a 12/12 hour alternating cycle. Installation of the controller and e-series fixtures is completely plug-and-play. Simply connect the controller cable to the fixtures and plug the fixtures and controller into the mains. All "E" series ballasts and fixtures offer the following advanced features and functions: - Master Controller input for external control - Three colored status LEDs providing advanced status and status history indication - Improved housing with increased cooling capacity for even lower operating temperature - Eyelets located in new positions for improved weight distribution and increased installation stability A new Pro Line e-series product is the 6/750e DE FLEX fixture, which uses a newly developed Gavita Pro 750W 400V EL double-ended lamp. The control range of this lamp is 400-825 W, thus filling the gap between 600 W and 1,000 W lamps. We named it 6/750 DE FLEX because it is as efficient operating at 600 W as it is at 750 W. In many cases, it is a modern version of an air-cooled 1,000 W fixture, while operating at only 825 W. This allows for electricity savings of up to 20%. The lamp output, operating at 750 W, is 1,500 µmol s-1 (2 µmol s-1 per watt).
