The 70-micron mesh bag reaches what is considered the "sweet spot" for trichome collection. In most plant material, the majority of mature resin glands are in the 70-90 micron range. This means you will get the highest proportion of resin glands compared to potential contaminants if you collect crystals in this range. Since trichome size is also an indicator of resin gland maturity, you are most likely to get the best quality product from your 70-micron bag.
