Hollands Hope is characterized by its resistance to mold and by being a tough and reliable strain that is ready for harvest by the end of September or beginning of October, after about eight weeks of flowering. It is a quality indica selected to withstand the Dutch climate outdoors, but it also grows well in other climates. Plants typically reach between one and two meters in height. It is a very productive indica strain with a powerful narcotic effect and has been one of our favorite outdoor strains from the beginning. Plants can produce between 100 and 1,000 grams each depending on growing conditions. Be careful not to overfeed Hollands Hope because this can encourage too many leaves to sprout and bud production to decrease. The buds usually reach fifty centimeters in length and have many small leaves. Hollands Hope has been a productive and reliable outdoor strain for many years; when smoked, it is quite sweet and the powerful effect leaves you couch-locked, which is appreciated by both recreational smokers and therapeutic users. The effect lasts two good hours. Many outdoor growers who plant Hollands Hope have been doing so for years. Under optimal conditions, the plants become large, very productive bushes with a large number of side branches. It is a strain that has been endorsed by an entire generation of outdoor growers.
