Ripen is a unique product in our industry. It is not an additive, nor is it a stimulator.
It contains everything necessary for the plant to complete its flowering or fruiting cycle... and nothing more.
Ripen is a complete fertilizer for the end of the flowering cycle. It was specifically formulated to accelerate maturation, as well as to improve the content of active ingredients.
It is composed of a mixture of mineral salts and buffers meticulously measured by our laboratories.
At this stage of growth, precision is indeed of the utmost importance because the plant, at the end of its life, is very often weakened, and its assimilation capacity is much lower than the assimilation capacity during the growth phase.
Ripen acts on different levels: It gives the plant a strong signal that it is reaching the end of its life.
It reacts with accelerated flowering and fruiting, in an effort to reproduce before it dies.
It activates the plant's defenses and, consequently, its active ingredients.
It provides the plant with all the mineral ions for this last reproductive effort.
In the event of an accumulation of nitrates and trace elements by the plant, it helps metabolize these residues, improving the taste of the harvest.
This fertilizer has several applications:
Generally, it promotes faster maturation.
It also allows for an accelerated harvest before it is spoiled by cold or humidity.
In a greenhouse or indoors, it helps to harmonize the end of cycles and the maturation of later-blooming plants.
In case of severe attacks by pathogens or insects, it accelerates the cycle and allows for a harvest before the plants are destroyed.
Finally, it promotes an increase in the content of active ingredients in medicinal, aromatic, and culinary plants.
