Your plants will benefit from the precise feeding of active hydroponics, combined with the flexibility of growing in pots. The pots are located on a tray above a nutrient solution reservoir. The plants and drippers are in the pots with your chosen growing medium (clay, coco, soil, or rockwool). Set the irrigation frequency with a timer, which instructs the drippers to automatically feed your plants. The nutrient solution works its way through the medium and the roots of your plants, then drains into the collection reservoir and draws oxygen into the root zone. Wilma offers you the flexibility to use it as an irrigation system with a reservoir to catch excess liquid or as a hydraulic system with full recirculation. Why does the Wilma system produce excellent results? Frequent feeding means high water and nutrient absorption. Active hydroponics: the roots do not depend on the capillary action of the growing medium. The free drainage zone at the roots means no nutrient accumulation or waterlogging.
