HORSETAIL® contains a saponin that is toxic to fungi called "Equisetonin" and silicic acid, which promotes plant structure. In addition to these components, it also contains flavonoids such as "Isoquercitósido," "Galuteolina," or "Equisetrina." Finally, it is worth noting its richness in certain organic acids such as Nicotine, Palustrine, or Dimethylsulfone. All these components make Horsetail one of the most effective fungicides in organic farming; it is even recognized to have some insecticidal action against aphids and red spider mites. APPLICATION METHOD By foliar spray with very fine droplets. Thoroughly wet the entire plant. Do not apply during hot hours or high sun incidence. POWDER USAGE METHOD Foliar: Prepare a solution at a ratio of 125 g of HORSETAIL® per 0.5 liters of water and let it macerate for 24 hours; it should be vigorously stirred for 15 minutes at the beginning and end of this period. The resulting solution will be diluted at a rate of 0.5 liters of the macerate per 20 liters of water. INCOMPATIBILITIES It should not be mixed in the same application solution with copper, sulfur, nettle manure, or with products that enhance its action such as potassium soap, amino acids, or wetting agents.
