During the vegetative stage, Desfrán needs little nutrition. Although it grows well in soil, especially if it has a lot of room for its roots, it also grows vigorously in other growing mediums. It is 100% Sativa; it grows very tall and develops long branches that can dominate the growing space in a very short time. In the vegetative stage, the stem can produce intense fruity aromas when rubbed. During flowering, it stretches and can triple its height. Desfrán is a very resinous variety suitable for SOG and SCROG growing mediums and usually needs 9 to 10 weeks to flower. It has a fruity aroma similar to pear and green apples; the flavor is like enjoying a pear candy with hints of grape and melon. For a Sativa, Desfrán produces unusually compact and dense flowers. When dried, the flowers look like glazed pinecones. An early harvest can lead to a psychedelic and very cerebral high, but if you decide to leave it a little longer, the result of the Desfrán harvest will be a sweeter flavor and a true destroyer.
