The 67-gram Boveda® Pak is used for the 4, 6, 8-liter, and Mega CVaults. The 2-way humidity control continuously adapts to external temperature and climate – either adding or removing moisture – as needed to maintain a 62% relative humidity (RH) level inside the container. Boveda's patented 58% technology ensures 58% relative humidity with an approximate 1% humidity variation. No adjustments needed, just place the Boveda® inside your CVault, and after 24 to 48 hours, your product will be at a perfect 58% relative humidity. The Paks are disposable, and you can easily see when it's time to change them. You'll start to notice the inside of the Boveda® beginning to crystallize. Once the entire packet solidifies, replace your Boveda®. Simply insert a new Boveda® and you're good to go again. 1. Dry the plant material until it reaches 54-59% relative humidity. Stems should snap and break easily when bent. 2. Place the dried plant material in the CVault containers – For primary curing, we recommend 1 additional Boveda Pak per CVault. 3. Close the lid – no further manipulation of the plant material is required. However, it won't hurt to open the lid every couple of days just to check its condition. 4. Over the next 6 to 7 days, the Boveda Pak works by adding or removing the necessary moisture to stabilize the optimal humidity in the plant material. 5. The longer you can leave it in the CVault after day 7, the better the curing and final product will be. In fact, after approximately 14 days, your plant material will begin the process of good curing. 6. After 15 days, you will be positively surprised; the smoking experience is simply better and will continue to improve over the next 15 days. We recommend extended drying for 10 to 14 days before placing the plant material in the containers.
