After the original cross, it was backcrossed with Cheese to stabilize the genetics and perfect the flavor and effect of this strain. Blue Cheese usually takes around 60 to 65 days to complete its flowering period. The sweet and fruity aroma of Cheese begins to develop (manifest) just a few weeks after flowering starts and continues to develop and intensify as the plant matures. Most plants reach a height of between 160 and 200 cm. When grown outdoors, it may grow a little taller. It will be ready for harvest at the end of September. Good for SOG or Hydroponic techniques Good growers will find that they will also get a good yield – easily expecting an average of 500 to 600 grams per square meter. The only downside of Blue Cheese is the leaf-to-flower ratio, which is slightly higher than average, meaning it will be harder to trim. However, this little extra work is worth it for the final product. Blue Cheese responds extremely well to cultivation techniques, both hydroponic methods, SOG (Sea of Green) techniques, and soil growth methods.
