The original genotype of Northern Lights Automatic has been famous for decades as a source for both the plant breeding industry and varieties like NL #1, NL#2, and NL #5, as well as critical hybrids such as NL 5x2, Shiva Skunk, Hash Plant, Silver Pearl, and Northern Lights #5 x Haze. Northern Lights Automatic has been bred from the same solid genetic stock, combining NL #5 and NL #2 with our best feminized Indica autoflower, and backcrossing with the NL parents. Like most of its family, Northern Lights Automatic is typically grown indoors under lamps, although this variety can also perform very well outdoors in a warm, sunny Mediterranean climate. Both indoors and outdoors, NL Automatic can grow from germination to harvest in just 11 weeks! Uniquely, flowering begins 20 to 30 days after seedlings emerge, regardless of the photoperiod, and NL Automatic's flowering phase is completed in 50-60 days. Indoor growers who increase the number of light hours per day (e.g., 18 hours instead of 14) may see the full flowering cycle a bit faster, but the difference is generally negligible. Northern Lights Automatic typically reaches a height of 60 to 90cm by harvest time.
