The set includes an 185 and 45 micron screen bag to get you started. Our small 2-bag crystal set is suitable for fast commercial processing, especially of material with generally smaller crystals (e.g. outdoor material). Please note: In most plant materials, a number of crystals are smaller than 45 microns, so some product may be lost if you do not use an extra bag to catch the mini-crystals. If, on the other hand, your material contains many large crystals, the 45 µm bag may become a little clogged, leading to inconveniently long drainage periods. Alternatively, you can compile your own 2-bag set by choosing 2 bags from the following micron sizes: 220 µm, 185 µm, 120 µm, 90 µm, 70 µm, 45 µm, 38 µm or 25 µm. Pro tip: Keep the water at or below 4°C (39.2°F), as it is at its densest and therefore most effective at removing resin glands at this temperature. You will achieve absolute maximum quality by stirring slowly and carefully. As the quality of your product decays due to the plant material being continually stirred, we recommend working your material in several rounds to obtain separate batches with a quality gradient.
